Bukit Jalil Stadium Guide 2026: Getting There, Parking, Seats and Food Nearby

Got tickets for a concert or a Harimau Malaya match at Bukit Jalil Stadium? This guide covers the LRT route, parking, seating, tickets and where to makan before the gates open.
One thing first. Since 6 March 2026, the stadium’s official name is TM National Stadium (TM Stadium Nasional), under a three-year naming deal with Telekom Malaysia.
The indoor arena next door changed its name too. The old Putra Indoor Stadium, better known as Axiata Arena, is now Unifi Arena.

Watching Harimau Malaya Here
Bukit Jalil has been the national team’s home ground since 1998. But not every home game is played here, so check the venue before you buy.
In July 2026, Harimau Malaya beat Laos 4-0 at Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras, not Bukit Jalil. You can see Harimau Malaya’s upcoming matches and venues on StraitScore, with kick-off times in Malaysian time.
How to Get to Bukit Jalil Stadium by LRT
The LRT is the easiest way in, no contest. Take the Sri Petaling Line to Bukit Jalil station, which is about a four-minute walk from the stadium.
On concert and match nights, trains usually run past midnight. Check Rapid KL’s social media on the day for the last train time.
Pro tip: Park two stations away and ride in. Awan Besar station has free parking, and Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS) is also two stops from Bukit Jalil.
Bukit Jalil Stadium Parking
There are six car parks around the sports complex, and they fill up fast on big nights. Rates are typically RM10 to RM20 (USD2.46 to USD4.91) per entry.

Heads up on Pavilion: The mall’s site lists a RM15 (USD3.69) daily cap in one rate table and RM30 (USD7.37) in another. Budget for the higher number on event nights.
Getting Home After the Show
The walk out is the slowest part of the night. With up to 87,000 people leaving at once, expect long queues at the LRT gates.
E-hailing near the gates is a gamble. SAYS suggests walking at least 30 minutes away before booking a ride, because demand spikes after events.
Bukit Jalil Stadium Seating Plan Tips
There’s no single seating plan for every event. Each promoter publishes its own seat map when tickets go on sale, so check the event’s ticketing page before you choose.
For football, seats along the sides give the best view of the whole pitch. For concerts, floor and lower-tier seats get you closer, while the upper tiers show off the full stage production.
Buying Tickets
For concerts, buy only from the official platform. For example, My Chemical Romance tickets are sold on GoLive Asia, and BIGBANG’s show is promoted by iMe Malaysia.
For football, FAM announces ticket sales on its official channels. For the Asian Cup qualifier against Vietnam in June 2025, open-seat tickets cost RM40 (USD9.83) for adults and RM5 (USD1.23) for children.
Skip the resellers on social media lah. If a deal looks too good to be true, it usually is.
What Not to Bring
Security checks for big concerts are strict. For Coldplay’s 2023 show, police banned 12 items, including power banks, umbrellas and alcohol.
Rules change from event to event, so read the organiser’s FAQ before you leave home. Bring a small bag, your MyKad or passport, and a fully charged phone with your e-ticket ready.

Final Whistle
Whatever you call it, Bukit Jalil is still the biggest stage for Malaysian sport and music. Plan your route, park smart and eat early, and the night gets a lot easier.
Take the LRT if you can, and keep a backup car park in mind. For football, check the venue first, then go and make some noise.
