For true KL folks, The Campus Ampang is going to look awfully recognizable. That’s simply because the complex was the former International School Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) which was built back in 1976.
Although the school operated for years before moving out in 2018, the original campus was left underutilized for years until developers reimagined it.
If you take a look at The Campus Ampang’s directory, you will realise that most of the school’s layout was kept intact. This former school was then beautifully reimagined to serve as a multi-purpose creative hub for retail, food, and arts.

Universal Bakehouse is no stranger to many. Serving up some of the best sourdoughs, they offer artisanal pastries and croissants too, with outdoor courtyard seating.

Anyone craving for some local dessert can step into Tetangga Kita. Elevating the humble martabak into a sweet and savory dish is what they are known for. You will not run out of flavours to try and when we say they are creative we mean green tea red bean, or samyang, not just your average flavours!

Why not get something delicious and fun? Yaki Yaki a, Japanese izakaya serves yakitori, creative rolls and also some creative cocktails. Their recommended dish however is the Yaki Soba plus their sake cocktails.

Calling all matcha fans – The Campus Ampang houses the famous matcha makers, Niko Neko. They not only offer flavourful matchas but also a wide variety of cheesecakes and Japanese tea sets. The vibe is also equally zen with loads of wood pillars and furniture to match. The operating hours are daily, from 12pm – 8pm.
Cor Blimey! British Fish & Chips

Your local favourite Cor Blimey! From SS15 is now at The Campus Ampang serving up their classic cod or dory fish & chips. There’s limited seating so we suggest going early or avoiding peak hours.
Family Room Coffee
Unit: G-12 Opening Hours: Daily, 9:30am – 7:30pm
The Campus Ampang’s food cannot get anymore international with a cafe originating from Maldives, serving brunch bites and alfresco views of the football field. Pair your hot or cold coffees and matchas with some Maldivian tuna pancake or Maldivian dessert at Family Room Coffee.

By Public Transport:
LRT Ampang station is approximately a 25-minute walk away.
Rapid On Demand (ROD) bus service is now available: Take ROD Route T306B from LRT Ampang (Kg Ampang Indah – Taman Sri Watan), get off at Pejabat Ahli Parlimen AJ126, then walk 400m/6 minutes to The Campus
By Car:
You can also easily access The Campus Ampang via MRR2 or Jalan Ampang if you are driving.
There are 2 zones available for parking. Below are the parking fees:
Regular Parking (Zones A, B, C — through boom gate):
- Weekdays: RM2 per entry + RM1 for each subsequent hour
- Weekends: RM2 per entry + RM2 for each subsequent hour
Premium/Preferred Parking (Zone A only — before boom gate):
- Weekdays: RM10 per entry
- Weekends: RM15 per entry
