F1 Singapore 2026: Dates, Tickets, CORTIS & Malaysian Guide

F1 Singapore is Formula 1’s original night race, and the F1 Singapore 2026 weekend is scheduled for 9 to 11 October 2026 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Since Sepang dropped off the calendar after 2017, this is the closest Grand Prix for most Malaysians. If you’re in JB, it’s practically next door. If you’re curious about what we lost, our piece on Sepang’s F1 history covers that story.
This guide covers three things: F1 Singapore tickets and which zone is worth your money, the CORTIS concert slot that has K-pop fans searching alongside motorsport fans, and how to get there from Malaysia without getting stuck at the Causeway for four hours. All prices are shown in RM.
F1 Singapore 2026 Dates & Race Weekend Schedule

Here’s the quick version for anyone planning leave around the Singapore F1 2026 weekend. Singapore Time (SGT) and Malaysia Time (MYT) are both UTC+8, so there is no time difference. 8pm in Singapore is 8pm in KL.
| Quick Facts | Details |
|---|---|
| Race weekend | Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026 |
| Venue | Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore |
| Circuit length | 4.940 km (after the 2023 layout change) |
| Turns | 19 |
| Race distance | 62 laps |
| Format | Sprint weekend (Singapore is one of six 2026 sprint venues) |
| Race start | Traditionally 8:00 PM SGT/MYT. Check the official schedule for 2026 timings. |
Because 2026 is a sprint weekend, Friday and Saturday both carry competitive sessions, which makes single-day Friday and Saturday tickets better value than usual. The typical sprint format looks like this:
| Day | F1 Sessions | Concerts |
|---|---|---|
| Friday 9 Oct | Practice 1, Sprint Qualifying | Evening acts across circuit park stages |
| Saturday 10 Oct | Sprint, Qualifying | Headline concert slots (see line-up) |
| Sunday 11 Oct | Grand Prix (traditionally 8:00 PM) | Post-race headline concert |
Exact session and concert times, plus support races, are listed on the Singapore Grand Prix official site and on Formula1.com. Concert times are often confirmed late, so check again the week before you go.
F1 Singapore Tickets 2026: Prices, Types & Where to Buy

F1 Singapore tickets are sold through the official F1 ticketing platform and the authorised agents listed on singaporegp.sg. Prices are set in SGD, so the RM figures below are approximate and move with the exchange rate. If you want to compare against what Sepang used to charge, check out our Sepang F1 ticket prices breakdown.
Ticket Types and Price Guide (RM)
The ranges below are indicative and based on recent seasons, converted at roughly S$1 ≈ RM3.30. Final 2026 prices and availability are on F1’s official ticketing site, so check there before you budget. Popular grandstands usually sell out months ahead.
| Ticket Type | Example | Approx. Price (RM) | Zone Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walkabout (3-day) | Zone 4 Walkabout | From around RM1,000 | Zone 4 only (includes the Padang stage area) |
| Walkabout (single-day) | Zone 4 Friday/Saturday/Sunday | From a few hundred RM; Sunday usually priciest | Zone 4 only, that day only |
| Mid-tier grandstand (3-day) | Bay Grandstand, Padang Grandstand | Roughly RM2,500 to RM4,500 | Grandstand seat plus selected zones |
| Premium grandstand (3-day) | Pit Grandstand, Turn 1 Grandstand | Roughly RM5,000 to RM7,000+ | Usually the widest zone access |
| Hospitality | Paddock Club, Green Room and similar | Well above RM10,000 | Lounge, catering and premium access |
Best value for first-timers: the Zone 4 Walkabout 3-day pass. You get the main concert area, multiple viewing points and the full atmosphere for a fraction of grandstand prices. The trade-off is no reserved seat, so bring patience and comfortable shoes.
Official Ticketing vs Resellers: How to Avoid Scams
Every year, Malaysians lose money to fake Singapore F1 tickets sold on Carousell, Telegram channels and Facebook groups. The usual trick is a screenshot of an e-ticket that has already been sold to three other people. Don’t buy screenshots, PDFs or “transfer later” promises from strangers, even if the seller says they have “many reviews”.
Stick to the official F1 ticketing platform and the authorised resellers named on singaporegp.sg. If the official site offers a ticket transfer or resale function for 2026, that is the only safe way to buy a second-hand ticket.
Before paying any reseller, run this checklist:
-
- Is the seller listed as an authorised agent on singaporegp.sg?
-
- Is the ticket delivered through the official app or account, not as an image?
-
- Are you paying by card through a proper checkout, not a bank transfer to a personal account?
Cheapest Way to Attend F1 Singapore from Malaysia
Go for a Zone 4 Walkabout, and pick a single day if you only care about one session or one concert. Staying in JB and commuting across saves the most, since Marina Bay hotel rates spike hard on race weekend. Watch for early-bird windows, which typically open well before the race. These budgets are rough estimates per person:
| Item (2 nights) | JB Commuter (RM) | Marina Bay Hotel (RM) |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket (Zone 4 3-day) | 1,000 to 1,200 | 1,000 to 1,200 |
| Accommodation | 300 to 600 | 2,500 to 5,000+ |
| Transport | 100 to 200 | 300 to 600 (flight or coach) |
| Food and drinks | 250 to 400 | 400 to 800 |
| Estimated total | 1,650 to 2,400 | 4,200 to 7,600+ |
CORTIS at F1 Singapore 2026 & the Entertainment Line-Up

For non-K-pop readers, CORTIS is the boy group from BigHit Music, the same label behind BTS and TXT. They’re one of the newer names in K-pop, and their spot on the F1 Singapore 2026 entertainment line-up is a big reason “cortis f1 singapore” is trending among fans who’ve never watched a Grand Prix.
The night, stage and time for CORTIS are published on their dedicated page on singaporegp.sg. Before buying, check two things: which day they perform, and which stage. Concert access depends on the zone printed on your ticket. A ticket that doesn’t cover that stage’s zone won’t get you in, no matter how early you queue.
Traditionally, the biggest headline acts play the Padang stage in Zone 4, which is why the Zone 4 Walkabout is popular with concert fans. Don’t assume though. Confirm the stage first, then buy the matching ticket.
The full 2026 line-up, including other headliners and the smaller stages around the circuit park, is on the official entertainment page.
Tip for CORTIS fans: the area in front of the stage fills up hours before a headline set, often while F1 cars are still running. If front-row view matters to you, plan to camp early and skip watching part of the on-track action. Bring water, a power bank and a light snack.
Singapore F1 Track & Circuit Park Zones Explained

The Singapore F1 track runs anti-clockwise through the Marina Bay and Civic District, with the Marina Bay Sands skyline lit up behind the cars. In 2023 the old Turn 16 to 19 section near the Float@Marina Bay was removed for redevelopment, shortening the lap to 4.940 km and adding a long straight. Overtaking is still difficult, so qualifying matters a lot. The best chances are into Turn 1 after the pit straight, Turn 7 at the end of the Raffles Boulevard straight, and Turn 14.
The iconic views include the cars crossing Anderson Bridge, the stretch past the Padang and Victoria Theatre, and the Bay area with Marina Bay Sands as the backdrop.
| Zone | What It Covers | Nearest MRT (approx.) | Good For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Pit Building, Turn 1 area, premium grandstands | Promenade, Nicoll Highway | Starts, pit stops, Turn 1 action |
| Zone 2 | Central circuit areas around Raffles Boulevard | Promenade, Esplanade | Turn 7 braking zone |
| Zone 3 | Bay side near Marina Bay Sands | Bayfront | Skyline views, Bay area |
| Zone 4 | Padang, Esplanade Drive, Civic District | City Hall, Esplanade, Raffles Place | Main concert stage, walkabout viewing |
Zone boundaries and the stations serving each gate can shift slightly year to year. The official Circuit Park Map on singaporegp.sg is the final word, so screenshot it before you go because mobile data near the track can be patchy.
Marina Bay Street Circuit Address: Marina Bay / Raffles Avenue area, Singapore 039594 (gates spread around the Civic District and Marina Bay) Hours: Gates typically open late afternoon on each race day. See the official schedule for 2026 gate times. Price: From around RM1,000 (Zone 4 3-day Walkabout, approximate) Map: Open in Google Maps
How to Get to F1 Singapore from Malaysia

Your route depends on where you’re coming from and how much you hate queues.
| Option | Travel Time | Approx. Cost (RM) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flight from KLIA/klia2 | About 1 hour flying | 200 to 600 return (book early) | Fastest from KL. Changi to Marina Bay is around 30 to 40 minutes by MRT. |
| Coach from KL | 5 to 6 hours (longer with Causeway jams) | 50 to 120 one way | Cheapest from KL, but race weekend jams can add hours. |
| KTM Shuttle Tebrau from JB | About 5 minutes on the train | Around RM5 from JB Sentral | Book early on KTMB. Seats sell out on race weekend. |
| Driving across the Causeway | Varies wildly | Tolls, petrol and Singapore parking | Needs a VEP. Road closures around the circuit make parking hard. |
The RTS Link between JB and Woodlands is expected to start operating around the end of 2026, so for this year’s race the KTM Shuttle Tebrau remains the main rail option. Book on KTMB’s official site as soon as you lock in your dates. From Woodlands, take a short bus ride to Woodlands MRT and ride the Thomson-East Coast Line straight down to Marina Bay or Gardens by the Bay.
If you’re driving, register and activate your Vehicle Entry Permit through LTA OneMotoring beforehand. Honestly, most people who drive end up regretting it. Parking near Marina Bay is limited and expensive, and roads around the Civic District are closed for the whole weekend.
Timing warnings:
-
- Clear the Causeway before 5pm on Friday, or you may miss Practice 1 entirely.
-
- After Sunday’s race, Causeway queues back to JB can stretch past midnight. Consider staying Sunday night and crossing Monday morning.
-
- Taxis and Grab near the circuit after the race are very hard to get. Walk to City Hall, Esplanade or Promenade MRT, or walk a few stations’ distance to avoid the worst crowds.
Where to Stay for the Singapore F1

Hotels fill up fast for F1 Singapore, and many add minimum-night stays on race weekend. Book as soon as you know you’re going.
Circuit-side (Marina Bay, City Hall, Bugis): You can walk to the gates, which is a huge plus after midnight. The catch is that rates often jump to several times their normal price, and some rooms facing the track get bundled with event packages.
MRT-connected budget options: Areas like Lavender, Farrer Park, Outram Park and Little India are a few stops away, with much more reasonable prices. Just make sure your hotel is a short walk from an MRT station on a line that runs direct to the circuit.
Staying in JB: The cheapest option, and you pay in RM. Pick a hotel near JB Sentral or the CIQ so you can walk to the KTM Shuttle Tebrau or immigration. The downside is the daily border crossing, so this works best if you’re only attending one or two days.
If you have extra days, stay on after the race. The city is much more relaxed by Monday, and room rates usually drop.
Where to Eat & Drink Around the Circuit

Food inside the circuit park is convenient but priced for a captive crowd. A simple meal can easily cost RM50 or more. Eat before you enter, then snack inside.
Lau Pa Sat
The Victorian-style cast iron market in the CBD is the classic pre-race dinner stop. Once evening comes, Boon Tat Street turns into Satay Street, with smoke from the grills everywhere. Order a mix of chicken and mutton satay, then add a plate of char kuey teow or hokkien mee from the hawker stalls inside. There are Muslim-owned satay stalls along the strip too, so look for the halal signs.
Must-try: satay, hokkien mee, carrot cake Address: 18 Raffles Quay, Singapore 048582 Hours: Widely listed as open 24 hours (individual stall hours vary). Satay Street usually runs from about 7pm. Price: Around RM15 to RM50 per person Map: Open in Google Maps
Rasapura Masters (Marina Bay Sands Food Court)
This is the air-conditioned food court in the basement of The Shoppes, perfect when the humidity gets too much. Prices are higher than a regular hawker centre, but still far cheaper than inside the circuit. Variety is solid, with local favourites alongside Korean and Japanese options.
Must-try: chicken rice, laksa, bak kut teh Address: B2-50, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018972 Hours: Long daily hours, often listed as early morning till late. Check current hours before you go. Price: Around RM25 to RM60 per person Map: Open in Google Maps
Zam Zam Restaurant (Halal Option)
For Malaysian Muslim readers, this Kampong Glam institution near Bugis MRT is a reliable halal pre-race meal. It’s a short MRT ride from the circuit. The murtabak here is thick and loaded, and the place has been running for over a century, so the standard is there.
Must-try: mutton murtabak, nasi briyani Address: 697-699 North Bridge Road, Singapore 198675 Hours: Daily, roughly 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Check current hours before you go. Price: Around RM20 to RM50 per person Map: Open in Google Maps
CÉ LA VI (Rooftop With a Bay View)
No ticket but still want to see the lights? The rooftop at Marina Bay Sands looks over the Bay and parts of the circuit. On race weekend, entry is often ticketed or tied to special packages, and drinks are premium priced.
Address: Level 57, Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Tower 3, 1 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018971 Hours: Usually from midday till late. Race weekend hours and entry rules may differ. Price: Cocktails from around RM90 and up Map: Open in Google Maps
Night Race Survival Tips: What to Bring & Wear
-
- Poncho, not umbrella: umbrellas are often restricted, so check the official prohibited items list.
-
- Earplugs: the cars are loud, especially near Turn 1 and the straights.
-
- Power bank: you’ll drain your phone on maps, photos and e-tickets.
-
- Comfortable shoes: walkabout zone fans easily clock 15,000+ steps a day.
-
- Sunscreen: support races start in the late afternoon heat.
-
- Stay hydrated: it’s humid even at midnight, so drink water regularly.
-
- Light, breathable clothes: skip the thick team merch jacket.
-
- Payment: cards and contactless work best. Some Malaysian e-wallets support cross-border QR payments, but bring a card as backup.
-
- Data: get a Singapore SIM or roaming plan, since you’ll need data for e-tickets and maps.
F1 Singapore 2025 Recap: Results & What to Expect in 2026

At F1 Singapore 2025, George Russell won from pole for Mercedes, with Max Verstappen second and Lando Norris third. McLaren also sealed the 2025 Constructors’ Championship that night. It was a reminder that the Singapore F1 rewards precise qualifying more than almost anywhere else.
2026 is the biggest rule change in years. New power units use a much bigger electric share and fully sustainable fuel, and the cars are smaller and lighter with active aerodynamics. Audi takes over Sauber and Cadillac joins the grid, so there are 11 teams. Nobody knows the pecking order yet, which makes this year’s night race a lot less predictable. Add the sprint format, and there’s real reason to show up for all three days.
If watching the drivers makes you wonder how anyone qualifies to race in F1, our guide to the F1 Super Licence explains the points system.
How to Watch F1 Singapore from Malaysia
Astro has long been the main home for F1 in Malaysia, so check its sports packages for the 2026 season. F1 TV options vary by country, and in some markets only the non-live F1 TV Access tier is available, so check what’s offered in Malaysia before subscribing. The race traditionally starts at 8pm, which is the same time in Malaysia. Mamak spots and sports bars with big screens are good for watch parties, since many already show Astro sports channels.
Is F1 Singapore Worth It for Malaysians?
With Sepang no longer hosting F1, Singapore is our nearest real chance to hear an F1 car in person. It isn’t cheap, but the night race atmosphere, the concerts and the city backdrop make it a weekend that feels very different from watching on TV.
-
- Budget fan: Zone 4 Walkabout, stay in JB, and commute by KTM Shuttle Tebrau.
-
- Concert fan (CORTIS): confirm the stage first, then buy the single-day ticket for that night.
-
- Premium seeker: a Pit or Turn 1 grandstand plus a Marina Bay hotel. Confirm worth it if your budget allows.
If Singapore prices are too steep, Sepang’s MotoGP weekend is a cheaper motorsport fix closer to home.
