The Best Brunch in Singapore 2025

Introduction — Why Brunch in Singapore Is the Ultimate Weekend Ritual
They say nothing beats a lazy Sunday brunch and let’s just face it, lazy or not, the brunch culture has taken the world by a storm and is definitely here to stay.
Singapore definitely has not escaped this culture. What’s interesting in this part of the world is that you can appear in your shorts, t-shirt or even pajamas and enjoy our lovely kopitiams amongst the old uncles and their newspapers.
Or if the brunch affair is treated more like a scene from the famous Sex and the City, then by all means dress to impress when you hit these cozy cafes. That’s all to say that we do have some of the best brunch places in Singapore.
And since I’m a brunch girlie taking after Carrie from SATC, I just love all the fusion menus and cosy cafe vibes that we have scattered around Singapore. What I don’t particularly enjoy is searching for a good one so that all my girlies are kept happy.
So, from crawling around Singapore enough times for brunch, I’ve rounded up 10 that will truly be worthy of your time and of course your Insta walls.

Where to Find the Best Brunch in Singapore (2025)
Cafes these days have come a long way. Whether you prefer one that offers a full meal or just pastries and artisanal bakes, we definitely have them all. Let’s take a look at some options that I personally love going to:
Central Singapore — Brunch Spots Everyone Loves
If you want to be at the epicentre of polished, hip brunch cafes then the brunch places in Central Singapore are worth a shot. Here are three of my favourite places to have the best brunch in Singapore if you’re near the central area.
Merci Marcel (Club Street)

Merci Marcel is actually a new kid on the block but despite the not so lacking seats inside, you are definitely bound to see a line – but all for a good reason (Woosaaah!). This French meets tropics cafe features dishes like roasted feta, some good ol’ croissants, as well as imported drinks like their Strawberry Fruit Nectar.
Must-try: Opinions are going to vary here, but I have to stick to my love for a good croissant because they are usually overrated in many places but not here – it really is flaky, buttery and rich – just the perfect start to any brunch in Singapore. What took me by surprise though, is their roasted feta dish that is served with pear and honey. Day drinking is definitely encouraged with their wide selection of wines – just ask their staff for recommendations based on your preference!

The Populus Coffee & Food Co. (Neil Road)

I love it when I’m spoilt for choice but most of all I always want my brunch girlies to all be satisfied that each of their selection is available and hence, The Populus is on my list as one of the best brunch cafes you can hit up. Plenty of sweet and savory dishes and plenty to choose from if you want to keep things light or rather have a full meal.
Must-try: What is a brunch place without some pancakes, amirite? Pancakes here are slightly different as they are made from buckwheat. Populus’s Buckwheat pancake is textured more like a cake than a regular pancake but that’s what attracts me to it! Plus, it comes with fresh blueberry compote and fruits with a dust of cornflakes (not sugar!) On days I want something savoury, I go for their Harissa Lamb and egg with a slice of bread – perfect stew dish that is not too overwhelming especially if you end up slightly earlier than regular brunch hour.

Sarnies (Telok Ayer)

Sarnies brand themselves as a joint serving up a good ol’ breakfast, Australian style. To be honest, this is definitely the brunch place in Singapore that I go to or pick when I don’t want to dress up and don’t want to go to a food court. Why? Simply because its chill vibes and the casual yet delicious food they serve. And if you like having brunch or even breakfast earlier, they start at 7.30 am so perfect for some early morning me time too!
Must-try: My favourite dish here has to be the Turkish eggs – not so Australian but, at your first scoop, you’ll agree with me. It is spiced delicately with the best dukkah spiced oil, and comes with generous servings of halloumi. They are also very open to customizing something to your liking, so if you want a touch more or less spice oil, just ask them. Salmon bagels are also my go-to here. Just airy bagels and fresh salmon with a spread of cream cheese, so simple, but oh so delicious!

East Side Brunch Cafés — Where Good Food Meets Good Views
If people watching in Central Singapore is not your thing, maybe then good views of the ocean and lush greenery might be? In that case, head over to East Singapore where views of the ocean and greenery are plenty. Here are three of my top picks of brunch places in Singapore:
The Coastal Settlement (Changi)

Some days the baby mamas have to bring their little ones along, and when that happens this is where we ‘settle’ : The Coastal Settlement. The vibes are quirky and fun on the inside and pretty green and spacious on the outside, which makes it a great space to house a few babies on the table.
Must-try: They have a big menu – from hearty big breakfasts to sharing plates like Cashew Hummus and Naan that will satisfy almost every type of diner. Our favourites are however their rosti that is served with sour cream, smoked salmon and a large piece of chicken cheese sausage. There is of course a dedicated menu for kids. We usually get their linguine & sausage dish that comes with two choices of sauce which keeps both the kids (and mommas) happy.

King’s Cart Coffee Factory (Katong)

A small place and cozy outlet compared to many other brunch places in Singapore but oh so good drinks and food! If you’re near the East, this is a must-visit.
Must-try: Who knew the formula to dial up the regular fish and chips is to serve it with some laksa sauce? I mean of course if the laksa sauce is irresistible – as odd that combo might sound, take my word for it, try it and tell us if that will be the sole reason you return or not. If a sweet start is what you crave, I won’t suggest a dessert, instead maybe spend that calories in a drink? The beverages served here are a notch above. My recommendation will be to try the Coconut Latte or Pandan Sweet Cream. Both quite sweet but definitely creative!

Café Melba (Goodman Arts Centre)

If you are often brunching with your fur kids, on the other hand, Cafe Melba is definitely one of the best brunch places in Singapore that you can hit up (Side note : they are also kid-friendly, so you can bring both!) It’s nestled in the Goodman Arts Cafe with plenty of room for your kids to use, so definitely no need to coup up in most traditional cafes you’ll see around Singapore. The seating is also generous, so the perfect location for a big brunch meet up.
Must-try: When it comes to food, my go-to here are their pizzas. Not only are they extraordinarily large and fit to feed a whole table, but I also love their variety and their pepperoni pizza which is one of the best you can get. If I want something fried, I always have their chicken parmigiana – also a very big portion, a wonderful choice to share around the table!

West & North — Hidden Brunch Places
Perhaps I can confidently say that these are where the true hidden gems are actually hidden by the locals. If you’re willing to take the trip and wander a little further then the West and North of Singapore definitely has some hidden brunch cafes worth checking out. Here are my three picks for brunch cafes in the West and North:
Atlas Coffeehouse (Bukit Timah)

Bukit Timah folks would know Atlas Coffeehouse as its been their go-to for many years now. As with most brunch cafes, Atlas is not big, so their big outdoor deck installation is very handy. Plus, it’s a short walk from the MRT station and is within the vicinity of Botanic Gardens, so definitely a wonderful place to settle after a Sunday stroll. Do take note that they have a special brunch menu only running from 8am – 3pm.
Must-try: I am a sucker for good waffles but I either like them basic or with meat – pretty certain I’m not the only one. So, if you’re into both like me, don’t skip their candied bacon waffles. Waffles are fluffy and airy, while the bacon was crispy and both went along very well with a dollop of their vanilla ice cream. But if that’s not your jam, then go for their Wurst rosti with italian sausages, a crowd favourite and you will quickly see why. Perhaps the only little thing that is missing is a side salad but you can always get their charred brussels which pairs nicely with the rosti. I say, win-win!

Baker & Cook (Hillcrest)

While brunch is often best spent with company, I sometimes retreat to just a good book and some good coffee. In that case, my favourite place to be is definitely Bake & Cook at Hillcrest. Hot piping coffee served with a smile, with beans to die for if you know your beans well. I sometimes even take (buy) some beans home with me.
Must-try: If I’m here with others and we’re eating then I often get their pastries – I love some good pecan pie, and the ones here are not a massive slice, so strictly no sharing but no guilt too! The eclairs are wonderful, if you’re not able to have nuts. Their big breakfast is simple but done well, pretty wholesome too.
| Location | 77 Hillcrest Rd, Singapore |
| Price | Minimum $25 per person |

Wildseed Café @ The Summerhouse (Seletar)

Wildseed Cafe is a pet friendly and kid friendly brunch cafe set in a colonial bungalow around Seletar. I personally love this place thanks to its chill vibes. It’s also the perfect space to wind down if you are coming from visiting the Seletar Aerospace park, marking your countryside roadtrip!
Must-try: Somehow you’re going to want to complete your trip with some classic big breakfast and I would strongly suggest you opt for their Big Pan Breakfast. This wholesome dish features carbs, protein and good fats like avocados too! While the selection of pastries on the counter are pretty tempting, my recommendation would be to go for their Atas Kaya dish, a playful take on the classic kaya, egg on toast dish, reimagined. It’s sweet and not too large, so perfect to accompany the big breakfast especially for two.

Luxe Brunch Restaurants — For When You Want to Treat Yourself
Not all brunches have to be about the ‘big breakfasts’ or the ‘benedicts’. Some can be extravaganza and what is life without a little treat. Am I right, or am I right? For a little luxury trips, I have a few luxe choices of brunch cafes rounded up here, for when you feel like something extra:
Colony (Ritz-Carlton)

If you want to make your spend worthwhile, why not spend your dough on a brunch in Singapore at Ritz Carlton? Not only do you get to dine at their majestic colonial looking restaurant, their wide selection of food and ehem, bottomless champagne is all and more than what we can ask for!
Must-try: Let me start by saying that you will be spoilt for choice. From Indian to Chinese and of course Western, the spread covers it all. But my top choice is definitely their Western spread. I love that you can get fresh oysters from their Ice Bar, including an array of other seafood like King Crab, Lobster Claw, to name a few. If canapes are what your brunch dreams are made of, then the choices here are pretty decent – Duck Foie Gras Parfait, Tea-cured Salmon and many more are available.

The Cliff (Sofitel Sentosa)

How about a short escapade to Italy by the sound of the waters on a Sunday? Perfect, right! That’s exactly the vibe of The Cliff at Sofitel Sentosa. Immerse in the view with al fresco dining at their garden, with an Italian Chef serving you the best brunch in Singapore.
Must-try: The menu here consists of a semi-buffet set up which simply means only a number of courses like appetizers or desserts are part of the buffet set up. At The Cliff, you get the appetizer, soups and dessert as part of the semi-buffet that goes along with one choice on the Mains. There are around 5 choices of appetizers, so you could try a little bit of both, but for Mains, my suggestion would be to go for their Beef Cheek With Broccolini served with some truffle jus. Desserts are also aplenty, but my favourite is their tiramisu!
| Location | 2 Bukit Manis Rd, Sentosa, Singapore |
| Price | Minimum $78 per person (adults) |

PS.Café (Palais Renaissance)

PS.Cafe is probably one of the few chain brunch cafes that does them exceptionally well. Although I have visited most of their locations, my favourite is at One Fullerton, which has an extraordinary view of Singapore, not to mention the F1 race track too!
Must-try: For brunch, I recommend their PS Big Breakfast which consists succulent sausages, warm and fluffy eggs with a side of veggies – a complete meal to start the rest of your Sunday. If you want something sweet, this cafe’s Sticky Date Pudding is a crowd pleaser, and you will understand why almost immediately – a large dollop of ice cream with a slash of toffee cream. It really does complete your meal.

New Cafés to Check Out for Brunch in 2025
The nice thing about living in a large city is that change is constant. If you have checked out most of the options in this list then here are a few cafes that are up and coming which are worth checking out:
- Komunal at Changi Rd: Seats are limited in this hole in the wall but so well known already for their matcha. Have their cookie dipped in chocolate – chef’s kiss!
- Creamie Sippies at Keong Saik: They pride themselves as the first ever matcha mill cafe that serves ceremonial grade matcha only drinks and viral banana puddings and also a dessert drink forward cafe. So maybe eat first then come here? But yes, no large plates here and more like a dessert only brunch.
- Hideout Coffee Bar at Bedok: You are going to find more people outside on camper chairs than inside as space is limited but the vibe is such. They serve up a variety of sandwiches and good coffee alongside some sweet items like lemon cake and biscoff cookies, if that’s your brunch vibe.
Planning the Perfect Weekend Brunch in Singapore
Planning a weekend brunch outing isn’t for the faint-hearted in Singapore. As you would have guessed, many us this opportunity to reconnect with friends and family, so here are a few tips to help you navigate the weekend brunch scene in Singapore:
- Always make reservations when available: Always check ahead in time and make necessary reservations as lines can be long and overwhelming especially when the sun is out.
- Check brunch hours: Not all cafes serve all day brunches. Some brunch menu are limited by hours, so make sure that you check if they have such restrictions.
- Price range $: Not all cafes are expensive but nor are they cheap. Check with family and friends if there are budget restrictions as a more artisanal brunch place can be quite costly.
- Group-friendly options: Most cafes are small and may not be able to accommodate large groups, so check with the cafe if it’s possible. A little planning goes a long way, so if they can’t accommodate, you’ll have a plan B to fall back on.

The best part about living in the big city is that food trends never die down and there are always enough high quality brunch cafes that outdo each other, giving us brunch-goers only the best of the best.
